Our Operations Manager

is responsible for the day-to-day management of T17, to deliver an efficient and user-friendly transport service to the local community and to support the raising of funds by which to deliver this service.

Our Administrative Assistant provides administrative support in all operational aspects of the organisation’s activities, including front of house, correspondence and record keeping.

Our Volunteer Coordinator

is responsible for volunteer recruitment, induction and training, as well as generating and managing the volunteer timetable,  and being on hand to deal with any unexpected issues or changes, on a day-to-day basis

John Boyington

(Chair)

John initially trained as a nurse, eventually becoming Chief Nurse and Director of Quality Assurance for Sheffield. He then moved into healthcare management and worked as a chief executive of NHS trusts and as a senior civil servant working in the Department of Health and Home Office. In addition to his professional background, John has a long history of working with charities and voluntary organisations, including working with developing organisations in the voluntary sector.

Peter Bellamy

Peter was a solicitor in private practice between 1978 and 2005, before being appointed a District Judge.  He retired in September 2021 but still sits as Judge some 3 days a month.

Phil Taylor

(Treasurer)

Phil is a local Dore resident. He is a chartered accountant with wide experience in the public and private sectors and has also worked abroad. He was on the Board and then Chair of the Sheffield Hospitals Charity up to 2019.

Colin Ross

Colin is a retired teacher of Geology in secondary education. He also served as Councillor for Dore and Totley over a period of 30 years and has been involved in a large number of local community organisations. In 2023 he became the 126th Lord Mayor of Sheffield.
