John Boyington

John initially trained as a nurse, eventually becoming Chief Nurse and Director of Quality Assurance for Sheffield. He then moved into healthcare management and worked as a chief executive of NHS trusts and as a senior civil servant working in the Department of Health and Home Office. In addition to his professional background, John has a long history of working with charities and voluntary organisations, including working with developing organisations in the voluntary sector.

Peter Bellamy

Peter was a solicitor in private practice between 1978 and 2005, before being appointed a District Judge. He retired in September 2021 but still sits as Judge some 3 days a month.

Joanna Woodward

Joanna joined Age UK Sheffield in June 2017 as Community Development Officer to implement and develop the People Keeping Well network in the S17 area, extending across the wider South West. In addition, she also manages a number of older people’s campaigning groups.
