The countdown has officially begun.
In just one week, Jack Martin and Jack Lucas will be standing on the start line of the Sheffield Half Marathon, ready to take on 13.1 miles to help raise money for T17.
Training runs are nearly complete, trainers are well worn in, and the excitement for race day is building.

The Final Week of Training
The final week before a race is all about preparation.
The long training runs are done and the focus now shifts to lighter runs, stretching and making sure everything is ready for the big day.
There’s always a mixture of emotions at this stage — excitement, nerves, and the realisation that all those early mornings and training miles are about to lead to one big moment.
Why They’re Running
Jack Martin and Jack Lucas aren’t just running for the challenge.
They’re running to help T17 raise £90,000 for a new community minibus.
Without that transport, many people simply wouldn’t be able to get out and take part in the activities that mean so much to them.

Community Support
The support so far has been fantastic.
Every donation, message of encouragement and share on social media helps motivate the runners as race day approaches.
Knowing the community is behind them makes those miles feel even more worthwhile.
Race Day Is Nearly Here
On the 29th March, thousands of runners will take to the streets of Sheffield.
Among them will be Jack Martin and Jack Lucas, running not just for themselves, but for the community that Transport 17 supports every day.
If you’d like to support their challenge and help us get closer to our £90,000 target for a new minibus, you can donate here:
Every mile they run helps keep our wheels turning.
